The NFF also revealed that Mr. Imama Amakapabo will serve as assistant coach and Mr. Alloy Agu as goalkeepers’ trainers.

Henceforth, the head coaches of the various national teams will be on monthly salary, while assistant coaches will receive only bonuses and allowances.
The NFF had announced on Monday July, 18, that Frenchman Paul Le Guen is the new technical adviser of the team but barely 24 hours to the announcement, Le Guen was said to have rejected the position, due to contractual disagreement.
Recall that former coach of the Super Eagles Sunday Oliseh resigned his position citing a breach of contract by Nigeria’s football body.
The former captain announced his resignation, citing unpaid salaries, lack of cooperation, among other factors, as responsible for his action.
With this development, Salisu Yusuf is expected to seal a permanent deal to the job, as the technical adviser to the team is expected to be named.
