"Praying for death of killers is anti-Christ" - Adeboye speaks

– Pastor Adeboye has said he will not seek vengeance against the killers of the RCCG evangelist who was slain in Kubwa

– The RCCG general overseer noted that the pastor was on a divine mission to win souls for Jesus Christ

– Pastor Eunice Olawale, the female preacher of the RCCG, was murdered while she preached  in Kubwa, a satellite town in Abuja

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), speaking after the burial of member of his church, Deaconess Eunice Olawale , has declared that he will not seek vengeance against the killers.

It would be recalled that Mrs Eunice, an assistant pastor at the church’s Divine Touch parish was murdered while preaching in Kubwa, a satellite town in Abuja.

Adeboye disclosed this on Friday, July 29 during a Ministers’ Conference at the Redemption Camp, Kilometer 46, Lagos – Ibadan Expressway.

He noted that since Elisha was on the divine mission to win souls for Jesus Christ, it would be unscriptural and anti-Christ to pray for the death or even seek to kill the same souls she sought to save.

He said: “I’m not looking for vengeance. I won’t listen to people asking me to seek vengeance. I won’t pursue the case.

That will be contrary to what she wanted. She wanted them saved, not killed. What will their killing do for me?”

About a week ago, the female preacher of the RCCG was buried. Her internment came after a service of songs was held for her Friday, July 22 at the Redeemed Christian Church of God provincial headquarters, Phase 3, Kubwa.
