– Young chap is in court on a three-count charge
– Was also alleged to have had a gun in his possession
In a rather unbelievable incident, a seven-year-old boy has been charged to court on a three-count charge of murder.
The charge sheet obtained by Sahara Reporters showed that the boy, Chukwubuike Oramulu was the first defendant in a case which involved one Edwin Ofoma (58) brought before a magistrate’s court in Enugu, southeastern Nigeria on Friday, July 29.
The youngster is being charged for the alleged murder of 12-year-old Oluebube John, a situation which contradicts the criminal code laws of Enugu (2004).
The said offence was committed on May. 29, 2016 in Enugu and although the young boy was not alone in the charge, he was said to have had a zebra English-made double-barreled gun and some cartridges in his possession as at the time he was caught.
