Photos: Ooni of Ife launches N56m Interstate bus transit for his people


The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, yesterday Jan. 28th commissioned 7 coaster buses worth N56 million to ease inter-state transportation for the people of Ile-Ife and its environs.


While commissioning the Made-in-Nigeria buses at his palace at Enuwa Square in Ile-Ife, the Oba urged Nigerians to patronise locally made products. The monarch said he decided to partner with Olofin Micro Finance Bank, Ile-Ife to purchase the vehicles in order to bring about economic growth of Ile-Ife and also ease transportation into and outside Ife town. He also announced the commencement of free medical care for his people.
