The latest addition to the Rooney clan was born on Sunday, weighing 8lb 1oz.
Little Kit Rooney looks all snug in his car seat as he gets ready for his first trip home.
Proud parents Coleen and Wayne welcomed his arrival on social media, with the WAG posting this adorable picture with the words: “Welcome to the world Kit.”
She also thanked fans for their wellwishes, adding: “Thank you for the lovely messages. Both home and doing really well.”
Coleen, who is also mum to Kai, six, and two-year-old Klay, also paid tribute to the staff at Liverpool Women’s Hospital saying “fantastic yet again”.
Manchester United and England captain Wayne also expressed his joy at the birth of his third sun posting: “Meeting Kit for the first time. Home time now.”
His team replied saying: “Congratulations from everyone at Manchester United!”
The childhood sweethearts, who married in Italy in 2008, are believed to have gone back to their family home in Prestbury, Cheshire.
