According to Rights Activist Dr Joe Odumakin, who shared the photos, their lawyer went to see the woman at the hospital where she is currently being treated. The woman recounted her harrowing history as a victim of domestic violence, made a statement to the police and the suspect was subsequently arrested. He will be charged to court tomorrow. Meanwhile his family and community members said the matter will be settled the 'family way'.. Photos below
